The snitch can lock people in jail if they are the only bird to vote them. They cannot lock the politician in jail. They can only lock people in jail if nobody gets ejected that meeting.

If you are the only person to vote somebody and they don't get jailed when nobody gets ejected, they are the politician goose. If a fellow duck is in danger of getting ejected don't vote a random person. On the Goosechapel map it could be a good idea to vent into the jail to kill the person you jailed but also beware that if they are a mechanic or any killing role they will overthrow you. On SS Mothergoose and Goosechapel, you should try Jailing powerful goose roles to prevent them from doing tasks or helping with their ability. Jailing The Falcon/Pelican can work too, to minimize their killing capability. Ideally, you should be jailing powerful roles that can pose a strong threat to you, like Detective, Sheriff, Vigilante, Avenger, Falcon, Pelican, and sometimes even birdwatcher.
