Silencer is A duck role in goose goose duck

Gameplay[]

like other ducks, you have a Kill and sabotage button. however, instead of being able to vent, you can silence players, making them unable to talk during the next meeting. If you have proximity chat enabled, they can still communicate before the next meeting. The lack of ability to vent reduces your mobility for a more supportive role in the duck team.

Strategy[]

If you were the only player to get close to a silenced player, they will know you silenced them, and you will be called out in the next meeting. If you want to hide the fact there is a silencer, you can try not silencing anyone, or repeatedly silencing the same player (this can make it obvious to the victim on who is silencing them, so they may start trying to avoid you to call you out). If you want to silence someone and hide who did it, you can do it while in a group of people (like a stack kill, but the victim is silenced). If anyone sees a fellow duck kill while your kill cooldown is active, silence them and report the body. Don't immediately accuse them though, instead. claim you all came and saw the body together, they can't call you out on it, and you can keep silencing them until you can secure their death (If proximity chat is enabled, it may be best to kill them ASAP as they can tell everyone they meet you silenced them). If 2 people see a fellow duck kill while you can kill, Kill one and silence the other, then do the same thing as before. these won't work if you have already used your silence, as you can only silence one duck between meetings. other players can narrow down who the Silencer is based on who has made contact with who and who has and hasn't been silenced. If you suspect they may find you, you can decide to not silence anyone and claim to be yourself silenced. You can try silencing people who tend not to talk a lot during meetings unless they have important info to share. This can make players assume they have nothing to share and might not ask if they're silenced.
